Welcome to my personal website. My name is Maggie Mengqing Zhang (张梦情), and I am currently a PhD student at Institute of Communications Research (ICR), University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC).
My research field is computational political communication, with special focuses on public opinion, media effect, information operation and societal impact of technology.
Methodologically, I do computational methods including text mining, machine learning and social network analysis. I am also interested in causal inference and experiment design.
